Grand Fire Protection extinguishes rising telecommunications costs 32%

Grand Fire Protection (GFP), based in Tennessee, designs, fabricates and installs fire suppression systems for numerous local commercial buildings, shopping centers and large residential complexes.

Aware that its expertise lies in automatic fire sprinkler systems and underground utilities, GFP turned to cost-reduction experts with Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) when the company became concerned about rising telecommunications expenses.

Reducing G&A expenses to remain profitable

“We’re doing what we can to meet the difficult challenges presented by today’s economy, and reducing overhead expenses is a big part of our efforts,” explained Dan Lynch, Operations/Design Manager for GFP.

An analysis by ERA experts included a breakdown of GFP’s spend by service type. ERA also identified the need for additional bandwidth, and was able to implement a more robust landline and internet service at a lower cost.

Other ERA recommendations addressed simple process changes to use mobile devices more efficiently and effectively.

"ERA's familiarity with the market, technology and thorough analysis of our expenses was impressive. They found savings and improvements well beyond our expectations." - Dan Lynch, Operations/Design Manager for Grand Fire Protection
