For over 60 years, California Baptist University (CBU) has been committed to providing students with a quality liberal arts education in a Christian environment.

As the student body increased to its current 7,000-plus, leadership at CBU remains focused on meeting the needs of a growing institution while mitigating the rising costs facing all higher education institutions.

Competing Priorities

With several new building projects, additional real estate acquisition projects and satellite campus expansion underway, the team at California Baptist found that partnering with Expense Reduction Analysts allowed internal staff to remain focused on these higher priorities.

The experts at Expense Reduction Analysts examined operating costs like Office Supplies, Janitorial / Cleaning Supplies and Payroll Processing Fees resulting in total savings in excess of 20%.

Working closely with key suppliers, the team at CBU was able to achieve these results while furthering campus-wide “green” conservation initiatives and without sacrificing quality or important relationships.
