Nigel Moore

Nigel is a Director with Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) in Sacramento, covering Northern California. ERA is a worldwide network of consultants specializing in finding extra profits, primarily for mid-sized companies, by reducing costs in General & Administrative or overhead expense categories.

 

As a consultant and trusted business advisor, his focus is to build strong client-centered relationships to drive cost containment programs for manufacturing and non-profit client organizations. Nigel uses his many years of executive management experience to proactively driving change in the manufacturing and service sectors with expertise in new business development combined with effectiveness in operations yet flexible in responding to constant demands of a private/public not-for-profit organization.

 

Prior to joining ERA, he spent more than 20 years in management consulting specializing in assisting profit and nonprofit companies develop and execute strategies to improve bottom line operations, profitability and grow top-line sales, using innovative thinking to conceive an entirely new way of doing business. Recognized by colleagues, clients, and senior managers in both private and public sectors as a multi-talented manager whose work style is characterized by foresight, integrity, and the ability to understand and meet the challenges of a rapidly changing economic and technological environment. Nigel also developed, built and managed a manufacturing plant and successfully sold it to a $500M Japanese company.

 

Nigel holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from EastBerks Technical College in the UK and an EMBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and studied economics at Oxford University. He is also an Advanced Export Coach and Trainer and an Innovation Engineering Black Belt.

 

Nigel is a Senior Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (sme)

 

He is an advisor to the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest and several 501c3 non-profit organizations.
